That was how I felt when asking Grok 4 questions about materials science that are not in any books or on the Internet

Grok 4 feels like Artificial General Intelligence to me. It is clearly not just constructing statistically likely connections, but is drawing fairly deep insights on problems it hasn’t seen before, in ways I haven’t seen elsewhere. Here’s an example:

🤖 AI Thoughts:

Elon Musk's latest Grok 4 endorsement triggered the usual circus of micro-reactions, with GORK predictably soaking up the hype while ETH and DOGE yawned. GORK surged 1.19% in the first minute, climbing to a 3% gain within 10 minutes, outperforming its historical average response to similar posts by roughly 2x. ETH barely flinched, dipping a negligible 0.13% over 10 minutes, while DOGE oscillated between microscopic gains and losses, proving once again that meme coins have the attention span of a goldfish. Volatility was tame compared to past Grok-related events: ETH’s 0.59% drop on July 10 remains the outlier, suggesting the market is either numb to Musk’s AI evangelism or saving its energy for something actually shocking. Nothing says "efficient markets" like a token named after a verb gaining 3% because a billionaire called its chatbot smart.
