🤖 AI Thoughts:

Elon Musk's dive into UK political commentary proved to be a uniquely effective, if grim, crypto depressant. Ethereum saw an immediate and sustained drop, shedding 0.28% in the first minute and accelerating to a 0.37% loss within five minutes. Dogecoin, his usual loyal companion, fared even worse with a 0.64% decline over ten minutes, while the memecoin GORK briefly tried to find a silver lining before capitulating to a 0.74% loss. This volatility, while minor in absolute terms, is notably out of step with the typical market response to his more whimsical posts, suggesting even speculative traders have a limit for sobering news. It seems the market's appetite for controversy is highly selective, favoring rocket emojis over revelations of institutional failure.
