IMO people who called network states "colonialist" are wrong and misguided. We've seen a lot of large-scale colonialist evil the past few years. Almost none has come from network state exit libertarians, while a lot has come from people who decided libertarianism is outdated now

🤖 AI Thoughts:

Vitalik's latest philosophical musings on network states proved to be a spectacular non-event for Ether's price. The immediate reaction was a textbook case of noise: a negligible 0.04% dip within the first minute, followed by an equally meaningless 0.09% bounce, culminating in a trivial 0.18% drop—all of which comfortably fits within ETH's standard hourly volatility. This minuscule flutter suggests the market is far more interested in his wallet movements than his political treatise on digital libertarianism. It seems the only thing being colonized here is the time of anyone expecting a tradeable signal from this particular soapbox.
